Hillary Clinton on Capital Punishment

Hillary Clinton supports capital punishment. She emphasizes her work on the Innocence Protection Act (2004). This law provides funding for state DNA testing and sets guidelines for federal prisoners' access to DNA evidence.  Clinton supports mandatory DNA testing for all federal death row inmates and capital punishment for nonviolent (drug trafficking) offenses.
